What Is FuturePay Repeat Billing?

FuturePay Repeat Billing is a recurring payments system. Shoppers make their first payment online in the normal way, just as if they were making a one-time purchase. All repeat payments are then collected automatically at specified intervals.

Payments can be fixed or variable and can be taken at scheduled intervals such as weekly, monthly or quarterly. All repeat billing payments are processed automatically through the Internet Merchant Account. Both the retailer and the shopper are sent receipts each time a repeat payment is automatically taken. The retailer and the shopper / member / advertiser are both free to cancel a scheduled transaction at any time.

Setting up FuturePay transactions can be as simple as changing a few lines of HTML code on your usual payment pages. With more website programming, you could fully automate your website, your online advertising and/or membership systems.

How Does FuturePay Repeat Billing Work

In it's simplist form, FuturePay works like this:

1. Customer clicks button to pay online
2. Customer enters credit / debit card details and makes initial payment
3. Customer and card details are stored securely
4. Customer's card is then automatically charged at regular intervals

Automated payments means customers keep on paying you without having to actually do anything. No need to remind customers to pay you. No need to rely on customers paying you.

Automated Membership Systems

The FuturePay system can return payment information to your website, enabling you to fully automate membership based website systems such as dating sites. Full automation is not compulsory but reduces administration workload and gives your business a more professional image.

How Much Does FuturePay Cost?

FuturePay Repeat Billing is available as an optional extra to the standard Internet Merchant Account for a one time set up fee of £100.00 (£117.50 inc VAT). Transaction fees are the same as for your WorldPay Internet Merchant Account.
